PLP.....A diamond in the rough?
Although a breeding ground for some of the most famous and influential people in Manchester Township, Pine Lake Park exists in relative obscurity. However to the keen observer, Pine Lake Park is a lower-to-middle class jewel. A diamond in the rough for the rough.
WTF?
If all goes well, this blog will:
a. demonstrate that Pine Lake Park (PLP) was, is, and forever will be, pretty cool.
b. serve as a cyber stomping ground for PLP residents, alumnus, and admirers alike.
c. allow those of us who grew up in this glorious development to not only document important personal experiences, but also share insight into landmarks, tall tales, and of course local heroes and villains.
d. prove once and for all that Holly Oaks is for suckas.

- Manchester's Grand Army of the Republic Monument was named in honor of the fraternal organization composed of veterans of the Union Army who had served in the American Civil War.
